I’m a content creator, a UX designer, and an entrepreneur. I’m working on a new venture about hands-on learning, game design and digital literacy for kids. Before that I worked as a product manager, a STEAM educator, a storytelling coach and a lifestyle blogger.

What do you want our readers to know about you?

I reinvented what I do for a living several times by focusing on my strengths.

What would you like to see more of in the workplace?

More diversity and women in charge of key projects.

What characteristics and/or qualities do you admire in the women you work with?

Their resourcefulness and capacity to do so much.

What advice did you wish you were given earlier in your career?

To learn to delegate more.

How do you think COVID-19 will change the future of work for women?

It will bring opportunities, if you pay close attention to how COVID-19 impacts our life at home and at work. Staying open to change is key.

How do you think we can increase diversity in the workplace?

I take a long view on diversity in the workplace and focus on our youth. As parents, educators, mentors, we have to make sure that they will not perpetuate the biases that we have today. Personally, I try to bring more girls interested in two industries: video games and STEM.

What was one belief you had that you later realized was a myth?

Climbing the corporate ladder in a big corporation was the definition of success. I later realized that I was happier as a small business owner.
